Great coffee in a really interesting place of NS. Beautiful artwork on the walls, appropriate pricing.Stopped here twice, both days the baristas seems annoyed but made outstanding coffee otherwise.

Tried double shot of the fireman's breakfast. Really strong taste and a different than most others espresso roasts. Definitely's got a kick. I'll try making some at home and see the difference.Their variety seems good. It's organic and fair trade. If you ever pass by give it a try. Won't regret it!

Excellent coffee in a nice location

I'm known as a fussy snob when it comes to my espresso. I travel a lot and this is one of the best I've had ever. Great crema fantastic oils on my lips and dark instead of the silly trend to lighter more acidic roasts for espresso. I found this cafe by accident and it is now a regular stop for me in my travels.

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. I bought a pound of "Fundy Storm" roasted coffee and it was some of the most flavorful coffee I've had in a long time!

Amazzzing fragrance of fresh ground coffee welcomes you as you enter this nice spot in a great town. Coffee is great and varieties can be bought and ground on premises for you.

I appreciated that in little town Annapolis Royal I could get an almond milk cappuccino! Made my week!

I had the cold brew two days running, first with their homemade vanilla syrup and then with their homemade chocolate syrup. Amazing! True Cold Brew.

Great spot to sit and enjoy a coffee. Fast and efficient take away too. Sissiboo is one of the top 10 coffee roasters in Canada. The Coffee is fantastic if your in Annapolis royal you must try.

John and Erin are warm and sweet owners who welcomed us to a tour of their roasting facility behind the storefront in Bear River. They have put thought and intention into every picture and word on each bag! They use Sissiboo Coffee Roaster Cafe as a location to bring the community together, and in doing so have become a hub of the town. At then end of our time with John and Erin, we left feeling honored to have glimpsed into the life of Bear River. Oh, and the coffee? Fantastic.

Cozy interior, this is where Annapolis Royal meets ☕🙏.Selling beans + grind fresh as well.It's an art cafe in a beautiful old historical building.VEGAN/Vegetarian friendly, non dairy options are soy&almond milk.Little snacks available.*These guys have fully compostable cups which is awesome IMHO!!Still to be absolutely AWESOME 😻, bring your own cup/mug mothernature will appreciate it!

Best coffee I've ever had

The cappuccino is terrific. I found the espresso somewhat sour, very likely as a result of the particular roasting. I didn't care for it.

This place was very hyped. I'm no coffee drinker, so my expectations were probably too high. It's certainly not a bad place, but nothing struck me as above average either. Also today's staff was a bit curt (he was working on Labour day though), and my chai latte had no sugar added by default (though not specified anywhere nor was I asked about sweetness). Thankfully it was quiet with good, calm jazz music (great picks), and allowed for 2 hours of homework easily done.

Coffee and tea were very nice but service wasn't very friendly.

The coffee and desserts here are great.....you gotta try their golden milk tea!!!! Delucious!!!!

A very average coffee house, with a nice tasting coffee. Simple selection of home bakes. We were not greeted with any enthusiasm and left underwhelmed.

Almost passed by, but a gentleman and his wife insisted we try the iced mocha, so we went in. The ice in the iced drinks is made of frozen iced coffee. Nice touch. The iced mocha was delicious, coming from someone who doesn't like too many coffee drinks.We also had the ginger cookies, which were soft and very yummy.The woman working the shop was obviously very skilled and efficient. Shop was clean.

Of the many places we stopped at during our Canadian adventure, Sissiboo was one of our favorites! The coffee was excellent, the service warm and friendly, and even the locals in the shop were welcoming and a joy to talk to. Can't recommend a stop here enough! You won't regret it!
